Last night in Kyiv was terrifying again.
Sirens. Explosions. No peace.

My younger daughter got so scared she jumped out of bed half-asleep and ran — from the top bunk. I barely caught her. One more second, and she would’ve fallen.

Then she asked me:
“Mom, why are they shooting at us? What did we do to them?”

And I had no answer.
We’re just living. We did nothing to anyone.
But they want our children to fear for their lives — even in their sleep.

I hate these nights.
I hate the ones who turn childhood into fear.
Damn terrorists.

My heart aches reading this… No child should wake up to the sound of sirens and explosions. No mother should have to see the fear and unanswered questions in her child’s eyes. I wish I could reach out from afar and take away even a little of this pain. Please know that my heart  and the hearts of many others are with you. And I pray for a day when children will only hear the sound of laughter, not the sound of war❤️‍🩹
