It is too early for an "own client". If this here would have same user numbers as Twitter/X, then yes. If something is as early as Farcaster/Warpcast you will not have enough users for your "own client" to secure enough income for continued development.

Agreed. My message is not about Bots (those should be gone, as they are also a huge plague on Twitter/X and destroying the experience there). My message is about Farmers, who I consider real people, who probably run multiple accounts, but still are real, coming to conferences, knowing you, buying merch etc…

"In favor of come for the coin, stayed for the community." Dito! Also, think of the usual fan who fills the stadium of an artist. Will they comment a lot on social? Most of the time, they will leave a "like" and maybe a two-word comment. Is it bad? Def not, and the stadium will not be full (sold out) without them.
