Why should I bid on a cast? What benefit do I get by collecting it? 1. If that's your initial thought, might not be the feature for you. And that's fine! 2. For most bids, they will be for casts that are interesting / funny / meaningful to them. It will be personal. Not particularly rational. It's more emotional and vibe-based than expectation of future profit. 3. In fact, I don't expect there to be much a secondary market. Could that develop over time? Sure. But for most collectibles, it's about person A showing appreciation to person B and getting to play a low-intensity social game (auctions are fun!) and you end up with an onchain momento. 4. Feature has been live for 3 hours and already seeing unexpected experimentation, e.g. https://farcaster.xyz/samantha/0x37419eb6

Just to make sure I got this right. When it comes to collectibles. It can become a collectibles if someone bids on it. So you have to bid on your own collectible and if no one buys it your stuck with it? Like you can't just mark it as a collectible and have others bid on it , right? Just wanted to make sure I got it right
