you know what’s also important? committing to giving up. i’ve decided to let go of ice skating. i think about it every week - but it’s time to pour my energy, time, and resources into other athletic pursuits. pick a lane. grieve it. let it go. make space. 🧊💔✨ i’ll just be the aunt or mom no one expects to be good on ice… until i bust out a little razzle dazzle. kind of like being great at karaoke without being good at singing haha

beautifully said, it’s so important to let go and make space. it’s tough to do and i’m wishing you all the best! i’ve put interests on ice many times and sometimes they surprise me how they come back around. i appreciate how you’re releasing and remaining open 🫶🏻
