What would you do to make over cereal? People have moved away from it because they (rightfully) believe it to be too unhealthy for breakfast Now manufacturers are diligently working to change that, updating cereals to have more protein and no colors When I worked at PepsiCo’s media agency, the focus was on trying to rebrand some cereals not for breakfast but for snacking, where it might be more appropriate to eat junk I would like more healthy options in single serve packets that they can up charge me on — many more people are single so it fits with demographic trends, and could also fit in with the concept of cereal as a snack https://www.fooddive.com/news/breakfast-cereal-makeover-health-kellogg-general-mills/748239/

I’ve never been a big fan of cereal and there’s actually only 1 cereal I’ve ever liked enough to source and it’s from Switzerland! But if I were to design my own cereal? a customizable bento box. 4–5 little compartments: freeze-dried strawberries, oat clusters(?), flakes, nuts, something chewy. pour what i want, skip what i don’t. bonus: a dual-chamber milk bottle for mixing—plain + flavor shot. want strawberry milk? let the strawberries steep. want cereal as a yogurt topping? go for it. Basically, elevate cereal to choose-your-own-adventure status 😂

top shelf — literally and metaphorically: swiss choco teddy. it’s chocolate teddy bear cereal with a few white chocolate-coated pieces tossed in. just the right amount of sweet to break up the monotony. i love eating it dry or with milk and fresh ripe strawberries. basically like a deconstructed chocolate-covered strawberry dessert. i’ve tried literally every classic organic cereal in America and sorry… most taste like dog food. so now i’m tempted to try baking my own version of choco teddy. what’s your all-time favorite cereal? and have you ever tried making your own? Also this cereal needs a rebrand convo reminds me of the movie Unfrosted. Have you seen it?
