Happy Easter ☀️🌷🐣

Spent the day mostly offline with my family yesterday. Today it’s sunny and warm outside ☺️ 

On the left, another batch of red dyed eggs. On the right, Tsoureki (a fragrant sweet bread) made by my Mom.

Growing up Greek-American, my family celebrated holidays with a blend of traditions. On Easter we would dye red eggs as well as pastel ones. Mom would bake Tsoureki. We’d also do Easter egg hunts and Easter baskets 🐇

I just texted her to ask - she used Arrowhead Mills organic all purpose flour :)

The red color has religious symbolism in the Greek Orthodox faith :) For me, it reminds me of cherished childhood memories!
