have found my self drifting back and forth on what role a token would play in future products i build.

otoh, seems like there is a clear distribution advantage that comes from a “successful” token launch.

otoh, securities laws, and doesn’t seem like there’s any “graceful landing” if you want to move on

have a similar feeling about farcaster rn.

otoh, it’s amazing to have money, identity, auth, social graph, etc built right in. needing a standalone app as well feels so distracting.

otoh, FC is tiny and feels like it is not growing. people i know would specifically not use an app i build because it’s on FC.
