a lot of ethereum builder disappointment seems to be seeking blame in low ethereum fees and the current L2 structure. this should be an opportunity, not a disappointment. 

extremely low fees opens the opportunity to build on the ethereum stack in vastly more broad problem spaces. no longer do costs necessitate financial products only. any digital product that requires even a minor level of consensus stands to benefit from the interoperability of building on the world computer. 

expand your horizons. the future is brighter than ever.

in my research (google search lol) i saw results like network congestion and spam attacks as some of the consequence or effect of low fees or was what i read totally wrong ?

was dwr's argument for a higher fee for farcaster membership an attempt to maintain higher quality content?

if that's the main reason for higher fees, ethereum doesn't have that concern - both validators and ETH holders gain value from higher activity regardless of the quality or source.

last month dwr threw a question at me as a reply to me asking “why the $5 entry fee to farcaster wasn’t $1?” and the question he asked was “what would happen if the gas fees on ethereum was too low” and that made me go do a research on it, because prior to that i would never see any reason as to why having low fees would be a problem and i’ve become educated as to why there might be disappointment and disagreement to this current structure.

but i still stand with the fact that the current L2 structure was one of the best things to happen in crypto.
