Never! This works on DC APIs too. The API caller can set messageTTL to Infinity in a conversation.

If I'm reading it correctly, could I in theory make my own inbox web app and use it instead of the Farcaster client?? (Use case would be uninstalling Farcaster app during weekdays but using a PWA to have access to DCs)

the main limitation is that we don't have webhooks so it's a pull model.
