Is anybody else really fucking pissed off that Ubuntu 25.10 with the default Gnome desktop has dropped Xorg support completely, and forces you to use Wayland? Synergy is completely busted with Wayland. This simply won't do. 😾 Guess it's time to install XFCE or LXDE. Dang. Absolute bullshittery.

Consider Pop!_OS. Ubuntu based, but removes a bunch of Canonical's shenanigans.

Good shout. Been hearing a lot of great things about Pop!. Unfortunately I need to be travelling soon, and I really can't afford to re-distro my laptop in the coming days. Maybe I'll look to do that afterwards!
