This is not at all what PSVR and PSVR2 were trying to be. Those were actually meant for immersive games.

This is slapping XBox branding on the LOWER TIER Meta headset to stream 2D games.

If that's the use case they're after they should've done this with the Quest 3. Higher resolution and better lenses.

Vision Pro is the king here for the 2D content. The display is excellent for that. But obvs way overpriced for that type of usage for most people.

Obviously the 3 is better than the 3s, but I think Microsoft knows the price of the better model might prevent a lot of sales. You're right, they are pushing this for 2D games but it can also be for VR. I haven't tried the game pass on my Quest cause I would rather play those games on a TV or PC.
