this is interesting. @dish @m00npapi.eth what if folks could opt out of clankers being launched in their replies? wouldn't stop right click saving app logos and clanking, but at least lends even less credibility to extractive clank attempts. would pretty much nuke distribution of clankers from shitter accounts.

this would be super easy to implement, really like this concept! we introduced casual / reply clanks as an experiment to split fees with the creator but haven't seen any successful clanks I think baking this into the bot logic to opt out of reply clanks could work thank you for the suggestion!!

in the case of megathrust (the person who clanked under jc4p), they did it externally and replied with the link. it didn't happen in the reply itself. but still an interesting idea
