With base flashblocks is Chainlink now faster? How does one use it with viem? I haven't seen anything in chainlink docs is it really just using the preconf RPC Url ? because then chainlink is still in block n+2 aka 6s delay minimum cc @n @jc @sohey

My understanding it checks just the pending block and return then already containing flashblocks. So when doing an eth_call instead of latest to pending block

Yeah... afaik, flashblocks is a fancy way of saying the tx will be extremely likely to land in the next block More of a mempool optimization than a functional difference that will be felt by app devs for the foreseeable future

i think you just use `blockTag: "pending"` everywhere in the newer versions of viem, you can use the chain import for `basePreconf` / `baseSepoliaPreconf` and it should just work.
