When I was a kid, my mom spent $200 at the grocery store to feed our 7 person family for the week. 25 years later, I am spending more than that just to buy food for myself. I honestly don’t know how most people make it. I’m lucky and have a good career. Can’t imagine what it would be like without it.

its horrible. i dont have a job and i am all over the place because of it. the fight for survival doesnt let me think long term at all. i cant even put my kid in school because the fees are too high and the fuel to go back and forth is enormous. a stable job lets you remain sane! its a blessing. even a boring 9-5 is a blessing. i am trying but i know my effort is not good enough. i have to teach my kid at home too and then try to earn from anywhere i can! 
i remember my parents filling up a whole shopping cart for the month. now we cant even fill it up halfway without the bill getting equal to our average salary.

i am a mom of one kid and its so hard, even now i am sitting trying to code and she isn't letting me do anything. jobs are crazy hard. i feel you. i had a shattered phone for a year! i got money to get it fixed. now the screen gives me trouble sometimes but i am happy. thank goodness i found Farcaster and all the good people here. even if i dont earn much there is still hope in the air hahahha when did you join Farcaster?

I feel your pain bro over a year I haven’t gotten a job just crypto grinding and shit and still can’t make enough to even get a good phone or cloths. Jobs on the other hand is hard to come by some will under pay others you will not simply be what they want.

Is a tough battle but we just keep pushing man
