Every year I attend this 2-weekend conference for high school students where they develop an idea and pitch it to a group of judges.

This conference was life changing for me when I was a 17, it was the catalyst for the founder I am today. The alumni from this program is quite strong too - every other batch ends up having a a16z/YC/Thiel funded startup. All high schoolers.

It was so refreshing to see them working on problems that *matter* like climate change, financial literacy, helping their less fortunate peers.
