mcdonald's france is offering limited edition international menu items atm and the canadian one is expectedly poutine but for some reason they're calling it frites à la québécoise instead... any idea why? 🍟⚜️

As someone from Canada I have genuinely never seen that product lmao.. yes poutine is available but it's called poutine

i guess they're thinking people here might not know what poutine is? which can be true, but i feel like it's one of the stereotypes french people think about to make fun of québécois - words, accent, and poutine
