Here’s how to make good content:
1. Focus on making content you like and are knowledgeable about and personally interested in - crypto, candles etc. 
2. Ship a lot of content within the same vertical to find your niche and make it your brand (crazy candle person)
3. “But no one engages with me!”, it means you need to improve the delivery of your content. Just because you find what you post interesting doesn’t mean other people will. If you do enough of 1. and 2. then mentally it’s easier to get over 3. Not all casts I put out are bangers but I have enough reps writing casts to know which casts will be bangers vs not. 

Other things you can do to get people to engage with your content:
- Comment/engage meaningfully with them to build relationships 

By doing these items you change your algorithm and control the content you see and create and the people you interact with! Be the change you want to see and also do the things Ted said.

overwhelming feedback from new users is that the content on farcaster is often too farcaster-centric.

sharing a few topics i would love to read more on farcaster (and please lmk if any of these are in your wheelhouse bc i would love to help amplify!):

1. popular culture! trend analyses and insights on culture (and not crypto culture). tell us what do gen z and gen alpha (and sure, millennial) consumers care about. i know "men in tech" may not care about this, but plenty of women *do* and there's a lot of us here!

2. start ups! tell us which startups are hitting milestones, getting funding, growing exponentially — and tell us whether you think they are worthwhile businesses or not.

3. data-centric information about technology, the economy, psychology, and everyday life. i love seeing data visualizations behind things that we know and love.

4. more SCIENCE! tell us how pigs could solve the organ donor crisis or why sunshine is good for the immune system. anything!

I believe if the delivery is good then the algorithm will push it up. Since the algorithm is obviously a black box, there’s no way to tell whether certain topics get boosted or not

This is great advice but for #3 I do think the algo pushes up posts on certain topics more than others, which I believe is cause those are the topics majority of people on here talk about, so no matter the delivery if its not really popular it might not get pushed up

Consistency finds your voice delivery earns attention.
