Heard some feedback today that there is no free way to access Farcaster snapchain nodes. Want to clarify a few things: > "There is no way to build with Farcaster nodes for free" This is false. Neynar has a free tier and has had one for a while. It's on the website. > "I still have to put in my credit card on Neynar" No. Just have to type in your email to get started. Go through the flow and see for yourself. > "It says I have to pay $1 after a year, in 2026" Yes, it does say that. Will you be building after a year? Still on the free tier? And still be complaining that you have to pay $1 for the next entire year after a full year of free service? > "Yes because I want free forever" Well funnily enough we want that too. We need to decouple our onboarding flow from Stripe. Help us hire so we can improve this sooner. neynar.com/careers > "Free tier is rate limited and if I use too much, it asks me to pay" Yes that's because it's the free tier and if you are going to use enough, you probably should pay. We were paid only in the past, that's no longer true as of March 2025. We want you to get started in the ecosystem as easily as possible. Things we want to build over the next couple months: - better, simpler onboarding - elastic pricing so you don't have to pick between tiers and make big jumps We are bandwidth constrained, helping us hire helps accelerate the above.

So, Apple just showed off a fresh look they're calling "Liquid Glass"—it's a whole new design style. They’re also changing how they number their software versions. Now, everything will use the same numbering system, moving to version 26 across all of their operating systems. Pretty simple change, really.
