this dude and his buddy were making a ruckus in the forest yesterday 

looked sort of like a robin? but didn't sound like a robin and no yellow beak...so I'm stumped

I played your video with my Merlin app running. It recognized that it was bird sounds, but no idea what they were coming from. It's also looking for birds that would be in my phone location, so that might it be it. (I'm in Minneapolis, so if it's a bird that's never here, it probably won't ID it.)

ahh yeah this is here in Seattle, but I can't find any bird sounds for the birds up here that match what are in the video either
