Cracked an egg today and it was spoiled/rotten. Absolutely disgusting. 

First time that's ever happened, which I guess is pretty good given that I've probably eaten about 10,000 eggs in my life. 

I did the math previously and estimated that between June 2017 - May 2021 I had eaten about 3,200 eggs.

Oof it’s awful. It’s happened to me a couple of times. You’d think after experiencing it once, you would be able to remember how the egg felt just a little different when you picked it up, but unfortunately not the case for me. Hope it doesn’t happen again anytime soon!
