I get into these situations and then find myself saying “why am I spending all this time on a temporary fix like this when I’m just delaying the better permanent solution” Depends the timeline but by the time those changes settle if you’re redirecting then, could just end up being confusing

yeah this is me going off the assumption that, if they didn't hard 301 redirect from the jump, it's going to be a while before it's done also the implementation shouldn't be that hard if it's a simple rules that says the canonical is "exact same URL just replace Warpcast with Farcaster" but I def see the argument for 301 redirecting down the line and not worrying about it

If the implementation isn’t anything crazy then yeah. Assuming you want the same indexability for analogous URL’s and you’re not running the risk of no indexing new fc URLs
