Well not surprising that people who work for a living voted with the guy with the political dynasty name, and not the guy who was polling 1% in February

Cumo has massive name recognition, and put 30 million dollars into anti zohran ads, im not surprised that people who work for a living voted for him in a primary. Zohran was polling at 1% in February, its understandable that people who are potentially not terminally online super politically active didn't vote for him in a primary.

> im not surprised that people who work for a living voted for him in a primary Is the implication here that if they had more time and were "more informed" they would have voted for Zohran?

It’s elitist to suggest low-income voters lacked judgment. People have agency.

Lol choosing to vote for a name you do know over one you don't is exercising agency I didn't say they lacked judgement, nor did I even critize the judgment they made, lol Come on, Dan, I know you don't agree with me, but lmfao It wasn't even a good gotcha I expected better

He’s just recycling the points on Twitter that got all the likes. But honestly those income break points are asinine. Who can survive on <$50k in NYC? The homeless and those who are dependent upon higher income earners, basically. How did people with incomes >$1m vote? >$50m? What about <$10k vs $10k-50k?

Again, non granular data. What’s the breakdown for 0/10/20/30/40/50k? Each of those are very distinct categories of poor. $50k is treading water but $40k is drowning: https://www.apartmentlist.com/renter-life/cost-of-living-in-new-york
