Searching for presence, p. 1 One part of my recent existential crisis was the total loss of any goals. The materialistic ones started making me sick, but I didn't have anything to replace them with. Then I did a little soul-searching with the help of chatGPT and learned to my amusement that goals can also be spiritual, or in the form of a feeling. To hell with those SMART people, right?? And then the goal appeared clear to me. It rose from the frustration I've been feeling - that even though I've made my lifestyle the most enjoyable and perfect it could be, I still didn't feel like I was appreciating it enough, wasn't present enough. So I've chosen my current goal - to work on being present, to perceive life vividly in its fullness. And it feels so exciting! I have so much to share already, and hope to do it in the next parts if the social media aversion side effect does not get too strong.
