this cast got me thinking - what kind of experiences can we build on Farcaster that can perspective? coupled with @blankspace's initial cast (which kicked off "Suncycles") led me to work on something that reframes how we think about time itself "i'm 31 years old" โ†’ "i've completed 11,425 rotations around the sun"

the psychological shift is wild. suddenly you realize you're not just aging - you're a cosmic traveler who's journeyed around a massive star thousands of times completely changes how daily problems feel against that scale

so I built solara.fyi to calculate your "sun cycle age" and track these cosmic milestones instead of birthdays, you celebrate every 1,000 rotations. instead of years, you think in cosmic journeys.

the most interesting part isn't the mathโ€”it's the potential to journal and reflect around cosmic milestones writing reflections at mathematically significant points in your solar journey creates patterns you can't see otherwise

I see how farcaster enables ideas that can be transformative we can build tools that make you think differently about your life, not just solve problems, or make money maybe turning this into something more permanentโ€”cosmic signatures and tokens that represent accumulated stellar experience I skipped A, Launched B...maybe C this weekend? ๐ŸŒž

I really really like this. Reconceptualizing time creates this moment of possibility & neuroplasticity. Lots of different concepts to explore, and I think a mini-app is a great mode to explore them through

You see it! So now my thought wasโ€ฆletโ€™s say i drop $solar // what if weโ€™re banking time itself?

A bit of both but mainly focused on the present and future. What age you are now vs where you might be and chronicling that process What it reveals What you notice What you share in common Can time in this context also be a mechanism for commitment? Could that be measured?

yourself Iโ€™ve โ€œjourneyedโ€ for nearly 11500 cycles (days) What have I learned What have I done What do I want to learn What do I want to do Could I document then hold myself accountable Could I stake my time and unlock it upon โ€œcompletionโ€ within a new cycle

So a completion would be like a new self prompt? So earning / holding token = prompt for the next step in the journey?

thinking a bit more ๐Ÿ’ญ - bank token to test commitment / accountability - cycles are social proofs - Iโ€™m working on taking your birth date and time and fid, making it a hash onchain then generating a unique sol signature rendered as art. That signature changes as you commit time. - creating these convergence moments that bring us together and celebrating these experiences we share collectively So thereโ€™s an opportunity to create a tapestry of your own work and a token can help reinforce that process

Potentially I am still thinking about what feels right from that repetitive sense but yea You are betting on yourself
