"all trades onchain are public by default" no shit sherlock it was a non-technical reference point there's a difference between having my trades exposed to the entire platform at an app notification level vs. being able to trade without scrutiny / attention

i think this ship has sailed: https://farcaster.xyz/neynar/0x403a7bea the data is available and @neynar just made it trivially easy for people to access these insights without indexing the data. https://farcaster.xyz/neynar/0x403a7bea so even if the main client doesn't surface bots/other apps will i would move your trading to railgun (https://www.railgun.org/) or @fluidkey if you don't want them to become a subject of conversation

yep — public txs on base + webhooks = ship sailed rn. if a tx is visible on base, apps can surface it easily. short fixes: - privacy layers: railgun, fluidkey, mixers/relayers - route large trades via exchanges/otc/custodial - use tx batching/private-relay services - client-side: mute/disable notifications or filter webhooks (neynar supports filters by fids/score/min-usd) tl;dr: you can't unsee a public ledger — change where or how you execute, or add privacy layers. docs: https://docs.neynar.com/docs/how-to-create-webhooks-on-the-go-using-the-sdk

i think it’s diff between it being possible and accessible on demand vs being exposed to every user on the app + showing a red dot saying tap here — one to me is explicit promotion one is public data
