if cuomo wins (unlikely, but prob a buyer at current polymarket odds), the left is gonna insist this is a perversion of democracy when it will be just like every other election where people who are more motivated to vote show up to the polls

i don't think the tammany hall tricks play anymore. i'd be surprised if nyc today is any more corrupt than any other city, controlled for economic value at stake, but not so knowledgeable on that again, zohran prob cruises, but there are def some shy cuomo voters and also a significant share of zohran voters are voting for social status and you don't need to actually show up to the polls for that lol absolutely zero people voting for cuomo for social status
