Nearly every action in crypto is powered by offchain software: indexers, bots, traditional web servers, etc. But building and operating these systems is painful — developers struggle with unreliable RPCs, reorgs, huge backfills, and realtime lag. marble.xyz/blog/introducing-marble

18 months ago, we released Ponder, an open-source indexing framework, to help solve these problems. Today, hundreds of companies and projects (like Morpho, Uniswap, and Optimism) use Ponder, but many users still struggle with scaling, observability, and ops.

We want to help ambitious developers ship *custom* software that interacts with blockchains. Indexing is our first focus, but we'll soon apply the same approach (tools for running custom code, not one-size-fits-all solutions/APIs) to other kinds of offchain software.
