The Ubari Lakes in the Libyan part of the Sahara Desert are rightfully considered among the most beautiful oases in the world.
Travelers in Libya often make a point to visit this extraordinary spot—whether to admire the beauty of the lake surrounded by a narrow ring of greenery and towering sand dunes, to explore the nearby abandoned town of Gebraoun, or to pick up souvenirs from local vendors. There are up to 15 lakes in this oasis, which appear and disappear over time due to natural conditions.

It's one of the most fascinating places I saw today. It's truly amazing.
