Metamask launched embedded wallet solution. 

Embedded Wallets use social login (Google, GitHub, etc.) to automatically generate and manage user wallets—no extension or seed phrase needed.

The private key is managed securely via third-party infrastructure like Web3Auth, using encryption and MPC (multi-party computation).

This makes onboarding much easier for non-crypto-native users, ideal for apps targeting mainstream adoption.

Compared to traditional MetaMask, it trades off some self-custody for convenience, relying on MetaMask + partner infrastructure for key management.

I guess this can work well for apps that target non-crypto users or in-app on-chain system based service.

Yes privy let's you create embedded wallets or smart wallets for web2 users. I think also @reown is similar but I don't know it in depth as Privy

Oh thought privy is just an Auth solution. Do they have a wallet solution too?
