Overthinking it imo. It’s just a governance construct. Buy the token to feel vested in the community and to be actually vested in the rising (or falling) of the token. Buy the token to DCA into a noun. Buy the token to speculate. Buy a Noun or swap $nouns for one to govern the treasury. In the meantime, vote via @noggles and Nouncil.

nouncil is really tough for newcomers, not a good solution imo simplest solution seems to be just give more people the opportunity to have a say? or do you disagree with that being valuable to folks?

I’m not against the token being a voting token, I just don’t think it’s a deal-breaker and we already have a token that’s not a governance token so I think we should just run with what we have. Maybe a governance construct could be built on top of $nouns as it exists now, idk, and I wouldn’t be opposed. But I agree with @seneca that nouns is losing mindshare because of the inherent weakness of NFT tokens vs ERC-20’s when it comes to expanding distribution and keeping attention.
