One thing I never really be doing is taking pictures of my food at restaurants. This puts me at a disvantage in the New York City instagram story social hierarchy

never understood food pics, i don’t look at them again and they are not interesting when seeing it from others (only the extremes, e.g. @jayme steak was sick)

I like it when it makes me feel something.

We do pics for our at home food and put them in shared library. we use it as an inspiration scroll for what we want to make. It’s easier that way for us, because if we talk about what we want to eat that week we take way too long. Just putting a few pics in iMessage for our pics works efficiently haha

but I get you—I didn’t like pet photos until I recently got one myself😅

might be because i don’t like to cook, but i definitely appreciate when someone knows how to cook good food

food might be an art (Michelin star restaurants) or people like to share what they cooked or i do a photo of the food when i recommend a place to eat

I think they're fun - inspires me to eat tastier food

agree 1% of food pics intrigues me. rest is just ego and self grandiose.
