Axiom flipped Hyperliquid in revenue today (5th across crypto and 2nd across apps). Basically every narrative violation in the book - late entrant to commoditized and crowded trading terminal market and just straight up outexecuted everyone. Also YC's most successful recent company, maybe fastest growing revenue of all time, despite them being all in on AI and not really doing much consumer crypto (the crypto stuff they *do* fund is mostly stablecoin related). Two 21 year olds.

Asia + YC is my best guess https://www.techinasia.com/news/y-combinator-backed-bockchain-firm-axiom-hits-100m-in-4-months

asia and returning up to 43% of fees is interesting but others have done that as well so would expect more but maybe just great product and word of mouth yc reputation is good but won’t help you grow that much? unless you are in b2b saas or ai and you sell to each other

The YC reputation means a lot to younger people who are interested in tech / crypto and are trading (most trenchers skew young) It gives a stamp of legitimacy to the product when there are so many scams in crypto But honestly with Axiom it’s two things imo; Pure execution and always having the latest features, while also giving US people access to perps with no KYC (or VPN!) thanks to Hyperliquid
