damn true, do most have insurance for this or only the really big ones at scale?

Yeah unfortunately that does not exist, especially for companies that are growing super fast too. Wish it did though

ah right the customer relationship is interesting, hard to insure against their future revenue for the company unless you can prove your avg revenue per customer but have no clue if someone is willing to give you insurance on that?

Yeah, the insurance can make up your supplies (I have insurance) and probably some portion of lost income, but if you can’t ship to customers you ultimately lose them. 

Theres more extreme insurance cases  too; my friend has insurance on his life in the case he dies and the company needs to continue, so there’s continuation plans for that too
