bonus: i *think* i'm observing different levels of engagement depending on which client i post from. i.e. maybe FC boosts casts originating from FC client and vice versa. not enough data to conclude this for sure

nah, would nip this speculation in the bud. you likely have a little more reach on Farcaster (because of stricter spam filtering) but more filtered engagement (also because of stricter spam filtering)
