the problem with AI generated video will be less fake-feeling-real and more real-feeling-fake

Kinda describes a feeling my coworker was sharing about their toddler. They suspect they gave in to iPad parenting too early and their kid basically can’t distinguish the real world from what they see on screen

which means real's asymptote is real (fakeness converges to 0) and ai is awakening tech

This is why I’m bullish on platforms that have only AI video and only provably human generated video. Cognitive load where there’s both will be tough I think

Sneaky already better than human generated content at capturing real experiences / narratives through memes.

It's the real videos slightly AI-edited to portray a different narrative that I'm worried about.

Deepfakes will only get scarier as AI gets more advanced.
