One of Twitter’s super powers is its search functionality. Farcaster’s search is offloaded to third parties rather than being a first class part of the client. That’s a shame. Bouncing a user out of the app feels like a big consumer no no. (Yes, I know mini apps aren’t technically a bounce out but it is bad UX just to search)

Better contextual matches. Most results actually seem to have nothing to do with the search phrase Profile-specific searches. Like how Twitter allows me to go to a profile and search only that user’s tweets. Time frame matches, filters, etc. Right now, search is basically useless if you’re searching for casts. Searching for users and channels works fine.

I’ll try this again. Didn’t get good results when I tried before but maybe user error. Usually only other filters are date range filters.
