Okay, so who on here has 3+ kids? I have 2 boys, 8 months & 2.5y, and we're contemplating running it back. We're very conflicted. I'd enjoy another one to be sure, but scared we unleash chaos and misery. Anyone with 3+ have thoughts on that decision?

Yea the upsizing of everything and going from man-to-man to zone scares the shit out of me.  Good perspective, thanks.

3 will unleash the chaos. You’ll need a bigger car, vacation rooms will be very expensive (not much rooms for 5). When they are teens they will eat A LOT 🤣

Disclaimer: I have two boys 9 and 6yo. It was the right decision to stop. (My wife wanted 3, but after the 2nd, she changed her mind)

Haha love to hear this take.  The incremental time argument is one I've made to my wife.  I actually would like to have a little less time for each one so I'm less inclined to over-parent.

For a counter opinion here, keep going. I’ve got 4 and soon to be 5. 

when you get to 2, they take all your free time, so the incremental time cost of each subsequent one is zero lol 

It takes 2 kids to get good at parenting, so why stop right when you get good at it!?
