if founder isn't leading sales at early-stage startup, personally see this as a weakness. building is critical, but selling it is perhaps even more so. otherwise, graveyard is full of 'breakout' products with no traction/revenue.

for B2B 💯 . if a founder can't sell there are a lot of other things that they're probably going to struggle with. these are all variants of selling: recruiting fundraising product discovery (if you know how to talk to people to discover problems to solve you've done 60% of the sales job)
