more startups should leverage semi or fully decentralized fundraising — it’s such a powerful and under appreciated primitive. i’m way more bullish on ICOs from legit teams vs. airdrops to farmers. let people buy in early / on fair terms and have true skin in the game

Aside from Sonar, what are the legal ways to do this? In the Web2 days we might have used Republic or something to that end to create a syndicate of some kind. I've seen solutions like PartyDAO and other things but they don't offer equity participation as best I understand (US laws, etc etc). I think it's definitely a good idea.
