I used to lean too hard on metrics. Still do, sometimes

But the more founders I meet, the more I realize that the strongest signal is how they think, speak, and move

Qualitative insight is harder to measure. That’s why it matters

assymetric bets require assymetric vision, belief, and discipline.

it takes time to see meaningful metrics, patience is so underrated. it takes deep belief and conviction to see what others don't and keep showing up daily.

too many teams pivot too early because of a 'lack of metrics' when, in fact, what they might actually lack is conviction and patience. ofc, there's more art than science to knowing when to pivot and when to push hard, but 

it reminds me of this quote: "if you don't stick to your values when they're being tested, they're not values: they're hobbies."

every entrepreneur should be honest with themselves about whether they're building to exit quickly or building their life's company - the difference, and thus the choices you'll make, will be fundamentally different.

imagine having ~2-3k monthly active traders on average for 3+ years - most would see this as a failure for a venture-backed startup.

yet, some rewrite history with their actions and survive long enough to see markets favor them.
