that they are simply records in a smart contract and our current uses of them are laughably parochial compared to what they will be used for in 10 years

what’s something about NFTs that's easy for you to understand but hard for others?

we're past despair and well into capitulation territory

most assets from last cycle will asymptote towards zero, but some will get much, much bigger than most people expect

the trick is figuring out which ones :)

i don't feel the need to read books to completion, and i am often reading multiple books simultaneously. 

if i'm feeling burnt out, i switch to fiction or reread an old favorite

grateful for the opportunity to see the Bright Moments documentary in LA, loved it so much.

I ask myself the same question every day. 

Most days I don’t have a great answer. But some days I do. And those make all the difference.

love your creative practices — from daily question/s to yearly credit card resets. what other surprising routines have tangibly impacted your life?

this is weird, but i put physical lists around my house

for example, in my bathroom i have a list of my routine in the morning (brush teeth, wash face, etc)

it's not complicated, but i am often absent-minded and will forget some key part of my routine because i'm thinking deeply about some problem

hello phil. Why you think the nft space is very slow right now in terms of sales for artists (not talking about the big names) 

also, what book made you into reading books with this fast rate?

right after berlin, i flew to london with @seth @kristicoronado @q2cast to tour potential venues

we were all burnt out and feeling the effects of pouring our energy into kraftwerk

london just felt so good. it was early may, the weather was perfect, and it was like wow, okay. we're doing this. it will all work out.

what has been one of the brightest moments from bright moments to date?

stranded on an island for the rest of your life, you only get 3 books, what do you bring? (ignore practical considerations such as how to survive stranded on an island)

these types of books have become more rare as i've gotten older. not sure why that is. 

i have learned a lot about human nature from fiction.

there is an ernest hemmingway story called 'The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber' that is about a man who dies well. that changed my mind about courage
