am i the only one who finds recent @coinbase sponsorship/choice extremely alarming? 🚩 taking time to think harder if i want to be associated with CB ecosystem moving forward. won’t pretend nothing happened — and i’m truly shocked Farcaster has been semi-silent about this, despite most of us building on Base.

agreed but hard to make a final determination without knowing what kind of leverage cb gained from it to know how intentions matched outcome most people in the western world will continue to perpetuate US dollar hegemony whether they realize or not so not surprised fc is less vocal on this topic (but definitely not silent) also corporate decisions /= decisions of employees

Feel like I saw quite a bit of disappointment on the tl, though maybe more from a user standpoint rather than builder community. At least a dozen folks. Some casting in /politics etc. Politics are tricky, especially for smaller folks trying to get the ball rolling on a project.
