Everyone in crypto is so focused on optimizing for attention in the currently small playgrounds (crypto twitter, farcaster, kaito, cookie, crypto VCs) that they miss getting any attention from the mass market, millions of other people.

I looked through the main newspapers, nobody was talking about Bitcoin (rather politics) except Sueddeutsche Zeitung behind a paywall and it said: “IMAGINE ITS BITCOIN ATH AND NOBODY NOTICES” and can’t agree more 🤓 I overheard some people talking about buying the btc dip recently, prob many heard fintech podcasts talk about stablecoins but I don’t sense a big interest. And I don’t see a big interest from crypto people about onboarding their friends or sharing crypto opportunities with friends - rather extracting anonymously from the people that are already here. (But maybe that’s just my perception and there’s very diff bubbles elsewhere)

Back in the day when I was interested in blockchains, DeFi, new use cases and business models enabled by crypto, and trying to understand everything about it and envisioning an amazing crypto-enabled future. (I really managed to pass or ignore all the scammers, shitcoiners, super short-minded people. Now that’s impossible if you want to make a living in crypto.)

Imagine pairing creator coins with $higher, growing the onchain footprint and the overall higher network with every picture created by a higher creator; AND putting $higher stake temporarily behind higher pictures from higher creators for additional visibility. Would you do it?

Zora needs runners to attract more, bigger speculators aside the collectors and smaller buyers/traders. Hence, better visibility for top coined posts would be good. I’d love to see $Zora & select network coins to be used for staking and adding weight to be discovered in the feed. (Obv can be dangerous to put too much weight on paid promo and shouldn’t replace genuine creators. Most of the ingredients for a good app, economy, token are there. Finding the right mix will be key to drive growth now.)

The main $eth mistake in the past 2 years was not onboarding a Saylor light. The playbook was easy to copy. There are many businesses on/around Ethereum that could have done it (without going completely nuts). Crypto would look very different today.

Just watched a german party convention where 580 people voted in their new boss, new gremiums, local leaders and some guidelines about future programmatic direction. The party has 70.000 more or less active members and got 1.6 million votes (3.3%) in the last big election. This just shows that we've been delusional to expect more than a few hundred people to engage in DeFi/DAO governance - except from a few highly idealistic, intrinsically motivated, financially motivated people; especially as some wanted token holders to govern every small change instead of voting in/out teams & budgets for a certain time period.

I‘d love to see Apps Like Fistbump 👊🏽 launch in the higher network and higher participants helping them succeed, find pmf while personally getting the return of using the app, growing higher.. The founder launched $Bump on Believeapp. Worth to think about 1️⃣how Higher could get such App builders to launch directly with Higher 2️⃣what would make them align with our network if they launched somewhere else in crypto to give our Network participants and the builders a benefit. If you want bigger volume & size, you Need to add something to the existing product (v1 worth copying/worth investing in) aka iterate and improve until you get something that Investors, users want more (v1.1/v2) >> Building something of value offers max upside long-term and offers defensibility because systems & stakeholders get more complex and Token isn‘t all there is (except when it is ☠️) > Taking opportunities aka launching multiple smaller things short-term can compound too (due to interest from VCs & traders) but the 10th copycat won‘t be a big winner (except it‘s part of a Template like a team in a league)

Just thought about the 4 teams that made in to the champions league semis, what they had in common & separated them from the rest? The played extremely compact - all 11 players participated as a united block in defense - no matter if counterpressing, defense around their own box or a mix of both. (compare vs teams w/ Ronaldo/Messi) Liverpool would fit in perfectly as they demonstrated consistent compactness throughout the season. (Liverpool vs Psg was a 50:50 game and was prob the early final). Bayern could have also pulled off the semis with a bit more luck (game development, injuries) as they showed "good-enough" compactness and had at least the quality of Inter. Real Madrid has also the quality, ManCity the style of play - but both seemed to not have the right team, mix of defense & offense to be competitive this year - especially when top players weren't available. My bet is on PSG this year but ofc Inter can pull it off in 1 game too (65:35 odds). Next year should be fun & even more competitive 🔥
