I looked into it, and don’t think there is a fix for it because it’s an iOS limitation 

Basically if you view a video full screen in an iOS environment, it uses the iOS default player which always pauses when you exit full screen 

Even if you try the YouTube app on mobile browser it does the same thing

The only real fix is to build our own native app which will take time
