The current Farcaster experience:

Good: bots and spam get removed from network, there's less spam overall, leads to better interactions, trustable

Bad: people care about their follow counts whether they admitted or not -- it's hard to trust your follower count if they keep going up and down randomly, but mostly down

creating and destroying; flying cars, roc.camera, july.rocks

Follower count is the only legit way we notice the spam algo working its way.

I love the fact that Farcaster tries to weed out bots, because I enjoy genuine conversations, if I really want to converse with bots, I will just chat with AI
