someone who is open to crypto but doesn’t know anything about it observes that in recent memory it sounds like just an instrument for political grift. grifters grift as birds-of-prey prey; if it weren’t through one instrument it would have been another. the more helpful takeaway is probably just that grifters are selling USD in exchange for internet magic money specifically because they know a bunch of stuff and are rich and influential and think this stuff will make them a lot more money 🖨️
