As much as I don't like Iran as Ukrainian citizen for providing Russia Shahed drones I think there was no reason for the strike, it clearly works only in the interest of Israel, which started the war it can't win, Iran called out the bluff "Iran won't retaliate because of US"

October 7th funded by Iran. Hourhies, Hezbollah, Hamas are Iranian proxies all attacking Israel the last two years. Irgc openly chants death to Israel and death to Jews on a daily basis.

While I agree these parties are indeed supported by Iran, that does not mean Iran was at war with Israel. US supports Israel. It's geopolitics. Very stupid. More over, it's not like Iran is the reason why they attack Israel in the first place, the essence is different, and I don't want to debate on that. Do I have a problem with Israel attacking Iran? No. (probably, in mid-term better for Ukraine, short-term bad) Did Israel started the war? Yes. Should US be directly involved in the war? No. E.g. Ukraine is not at war with Iran, although it provides Russia drones which kill Ukrainians. Should Ukraine attack Iran? No.
