BIP 177 - Interesting narrative and proposal.
it's titled “Redefine Bitcoin’s Base Unit,” is a proposal by John Carvalho aimed at changing the way Bitcoin’s units are represented. 

Traditionally, 1 $BTC = 100,000,000 satoshis, with the satoshi being the smallest indivisible unit. 
BIP 177 suggests redefining the term “bitcoin” to represent this smallest unit, effectively making what is currently known as 1 BTC equal to 100,000,000 bitcoins under the new definition.   

For example, ₿ 425,324 instead of 0.00425324 $BTC, aiming to simplify usage by removing decimal places.
