The main goal of the project is to make it possible to compute over encrypted data without decrypting it beforehand, while ensuring full privacy and verifiability of operations. š§š²š°šµš»š¼š¹š¼š“š š®š»š± š½šæš¼šš¼š°š¼š¹ - Confidential Blockchain Protocol (Zama Protocol) - Enables the creation of "confidential" smart contracts on top of any L1/L2, providing end-to-end encryption of input data and state (neither nodes nor the network operator can see the original data) . - Enables interoperability between confidential and conventional contracts (dApp composition). - Programmable privacy: developers set access rules (ACLs), who and what can decrypt. - The protocol does not create a new blockchain, but acts as a cross-chain layer, making it easier to integrate existing dApps. Total investment exceeded $150m, the company became the first unicorn (valued >$1bn) in FHE š š Launch of $ZAMA token and expansion to other EVM chains: late 2025 . Zama is changing the data security paradigm by making fully homomorphic encryption accessible and practical for a wide range of blockchain and AI applications.
