Gm! Got another favorite on the wrist today. This is a Universal Geneva Uni-Compax from the 1950’s. Only 34.5mm diameter 🤌 Watch trivia question: do you know what the 3 lines on the right subdial at 3, 6, and 9 minutes are for?

Beaufitul watch and doesn't wear small at all from the looks of your photo. I love the smaller watches. I actually don't know why the markings are there, would love to know. Maybe mark the crown position?

Yeah it wears great! People are way too scared of smaller sizes, but I love them. The 3-6-9 markings are for pay phones 🙂 Back in the day, you got 3 minutes per quarter. It was a way of letting you know how much time you had left on your call until you had to deposit more.
